Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs and LSF Strengthen Partnership to Expand Legal Aid Services

Legal Services Facility (LSF) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, marking an important step in strengthening the delivery of legal aid services across Tanzania.

The agreement formalizes collaboration between the Ministry and LSF in supporting access to justice, particularly for poor, marginalized, and vulnerable groups. Through this partnership, both institutions commit to enhancing coordination in public legal education, policy dialogue, research, and the sustainability of legal aid services.

The MoU also reinforces ongoing efforts to institutionalize legal aid within national systems and align non-state actors with government priorities. By working together, the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs and LSF aim to ensure that legal aid services are accessible, inclusive, and sustainable, contributing to good governance and justice for all
