The non-governmental organization Smile for Community (S4C) in collaboration with the Legal Services Facility (LSF) has officially announced the 4th edition of the annual Run for Binti event, scheduled to take place on May 24th, 2025, at Farasi Grounds, Oysterbay, Dar es Salaam.

The Run for Binti initiative brings together partners, communities, and change-makers to invest in the empowerment of adolescent girls. The annual run serves as a platform to raise awareness and resources to support girls' right to education, reproductive health, protection from gender-based violence, financial literacy, and access to clean energy solutions that create safer and more conducive learning environments.

This year’s run builds on the success of the past three seasons and continues to emphasize collective action in ensuring that girls across Tanzania are empowered to reach their full potential. The event will feature various activities including the community run, exhibitions, dialogues, and storytelling sessions that highlight the realities girls face and the power of supportive networks.
