We are pleased to share a significant update regarding the Run For Binti Marathon organized by LSF in collaboration with Smile For Community earlier this year.

In the pursuit of achieving the goals set by the Run For Binti Marathon, LSF with Smile For Community, has received a generous donation of 2,500 sanitary towels from the China-Tanzania Woman Foundation. These sanitary towels are intended to support girls in schools in the Mtwara and Lindi regions.

As a quick reminder, the Run For Binti Marathon, held earlier this year, aimed to contribute to the education sector and ensure that the infrastructure for girls is both friendly and safe.

We would like to showcase a photograph capturing the moment when Flora Njelekela, the Director of Smile For Community, graciously received the donation of sanitary towels.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the China-Tanzania Woman Foundation for their generous contribution, which will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of young girls in the Mtwara and Lindi schools.

These sanitary towels will go a long way in supporting the menstrual hygiene needs of girls, promoting their attendance and participation in school, and ultimately contributing to their overall well-being.
